My favorite thing about working in eCommerce is helping folks build things. I've worked on the merchant side for Hot Topic and Harbor Freight Tools, and on the vendor side for numerous Magento and Adobe clients. I recently launched my own project offering customizable baby and toddler gifts at Leodie.co.
Digital Marketing
I've done a bit of everything in digital marketing from product and partner marketing to specialized activities like email marketing, lead gen, and social media--and I know how to use data tools to measure success. I think understanding how all the pieces fit generates the highest-quality work. Here's the eBook in the picture that I wrote and promoted for Marketplacer.
Content
Content has been a huge part of my eCommerce and marketing career. It still surprises me how often it's undervalued considering how much work it is to fill websites with content, let a lone quality content, but those who know, know. I've created every type of content across digital marketing and branding, but I'm most proud of my ownership of content across Magento.com from 2013-2018. Good times.
